Think more recent.
BL-generation sedans / BP wagons. 2004-2009 JDM.
Blitzen: (some turbo 4, some H6)
3.0R Spec.B 6-speed. (no USDM H6 Subarus with manual gearbox since the '80s XT6 Coupe)
And the grand finale, Legacy S402 STI.

Sadly, not my cup of tea. Yes, these were somewhat decent over the BE chassis, yes, the H6s were high up in the horsepower numbers, but they just don't have the allure over the B4 model in the BE5 era.

The B4 was bonkers, I've driven a handful now.. I really don't like it's blue leather interior. None of the ones I have seen have aged well.
The Aussie models came with factory BBS rims that looked great.
If I had to live with one every day I'd probably get a later 2.5L GT. The twin-turbo legacy's and the second turbo can sneak up you on. Though the H6's are the best sounding engines Subaru have produced.

I would do unforgivable things to have that car here in the states.
